Aaron "Sonny" Hunt, Jr. is a class of 2029 standout scholar athlete at Midway High School in Hewitt, TX. He excels in academics as well as football, basketball and track. He embodies the spirit of dedication, perseverance and leadership.
Sonny participates in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is an active member of the Young Men's Service League - Waco Chapter.
Sonny was a key contributor on the freshman football team as a starting safety and made significant game impacts as a kickoff and punt returner. As a starter on the MHS JV basketball team, Sonny helped lead the team as the point guard and defensive specialist. On the JV track team, Sonny ran the 4x400 relay and they placed 3rd in district. He is excited for the upcoming sophomore season!
Looking ahead, Sonny plans to advance in sports and pursue a position in athletic training, coaching, or becoming a general manager. With his strong work ethic and determination, there is no doubt that Sonny will achieve great things. His commitment to excellence in all areas of life sets a powerful example for his peers as well as future generations.

Sonny is a true point guard that is known not only for his ability to see the court and make his teammates better, but also for his elite defense. He is a freshman starter on the JV team.
